The Web Specialist collaborates with the marketing team, internal stakeholders and leadership to design, produce, develop and maintain company websites (internal and external) in accordance with business objectives and to drive search engine optimization (SEO) efforts. This position is responsible for testing web pages and performing quality assurance to ensure all pages and functionalities work properly. The Web Specialist is also responsible for monitoring the organization’s online reputation and maintaining its online listings.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Education:  Bachelor degree in marketing, business administration, information technology or related field.

Experience: At least three years experience in a web design or web content management role.  Experience in the healthcare field preferred but not required.

Knowledge/Skills:  A solid understanding of Web principles and standards including usability, design, SEO, information architecture and web reporting tools. Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines. Works effectively as part of a team, while also able to accomplish assignments independently as needed. Keen attention to details, with particular emphasis on follow- up and follow-through. Clearly communicate ideas and status updates to both technical and non-technical staff. Basic graphic design and production skills, including the ability to manipulate and place digital media, including photography, video and similar features.  Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and PhotoShop , Basic HTML and web design knowledge.
