It’s My Money, You Can’t Have It!!
Nobody likes paying taxes, but your current wealth manager could be exposing you to 4X’s more taxes than you need to be paying – and the IRS isn’t even paying him to give you that bad advice. Traditional strategies prioritize a balanced investment portfolio meaning you could lose money even with a conservative approach – think about 2022, it was ugly. What you pay in a single year in taxes, means nothing. What you pay in total, over your lifetime, is the number you should worry about – It’s bigger than you think. When you retire you’re going to have bills and expenses. That’s guaranteed. How are they being paid? Are you relying on your investment portfolio? Did you need that money every year or just the years the market does well?
ABOUT
With over 40 years of knowledge in the industry, Karen shows her 7-figure clients how the old “traditional ways” may be limiting their spendable income in retirement. Through Compass Financial’s new and innovative approach they use strategies to eliminate risk, save money on taxes, and maximize their income…And who doesn’t want that?!

Balancing your Business and your Personal Finances
As Ben Franklin famously stated, “those who fail to plan, plan to fail.” Entrepreneurs know how important a strong business plan is and devote the majority of their time, effort, and energy to executing on their plan. This workshop is to help bring the other plan, your financial plan, into the picture with some tips and strategies for helping entrepreneurs mange both their business and personal balance sheets.
ABOUT
Colin Moynahan has a strong passion for personal finance that has manifested in over a decade’s worth of relevant experience before founding Twenty Fifty Capital Financial Advisors in 2018. Colin began his career with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in their Financial Advisor training program. In 2015, he went on to work for fintech start-up, Snapcap.com, as their fourth full-time employee. Over the next two and a half years, the business grew from four employees to twenty-two, earned a spot on the INC 500 list as the 14th fastest growing finance company in the United States, the 2nd fastest growing company in South Carolina, and the 2017 Start-up of the Year by the South Carolina Business Journal. These achievements led to an acquisition by LendingTree.com in fall 2017. As the founder of Twenty Fifty Capital, he has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Bloomberg, Marketwatch, Nerdwallet, Business Insider, Kiplinger’s, Fox News, CNN Business, and the USA Today.
Colin has a BBA in Finance with a minor in Economics from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Digital Privacy Best Legal Practices
When it rains, grab an umbrella. Likewise, digital privacy best legal practices can help
you prevent liability. From pet shop owners to Fortune 500 companies, artificial intelligence
(“AI”) is being used to farm customer personal data, analyze their facial gestures, and store data
for future use. As a small or growing business owner, you may need to store customer personal
data without really wanting to. For example, use Square to process your credit card transactions?
The company stores the data of your customers. Whether you store on site or use a third-party
vendor, the laws regarding this are complex and vast. So being aware of relevant digital privacy
laws is key. Some takeaways from this talk include:
How can you limit your need to comply with these laws?
What is “personal information”?
When does your duty to comply with state law arise?
