Introducing GoodSeeker’s Top 20 Values-Driven Large and Midsize Employers of the Greater Washington Area. GoodSeeker reviews over a 1000+ companies to find top employers committed to values and employee success.

GoodSeeker announces its Top 20 Values-Driven Employers of Greater Washington Area. The recruitment content platform evaluated more than 1,000 employers headquartered in and around the nation’s capital to find leadership teams going above and beyond to put employees at the forefront – honoring their talents, sharing their voices, and showing thanks to their contribution. D.C is the second market for this research after Nashville, TN.

The first non-self-selection workplace list of its kind, GoodSeeker defines a “values-driven” employer as one that inspires an authentic and inclusive culture, celebrates employee success, and connects talent to its brand in a positive way. Erik Ayers, CEO of GoodSeeker states, “There’s nothing more true to your brand than showing employees that their efforts matter – even when people are working from home and during a pandemic. Candidates need to know who these companies are.”

Ayers shares, “Our purpose as a software company is to democratize the visibility of skills, talent, and success no matter who you are in an organization. Employees and candidates want to see heart and soul at work,” says Ayers. “Conducting this research is one way to spotlight leadership and employee experience teams who are going above and beyond to promote employee success and connect talent to their values.”

According to GlassDoor, D.C is one of the top cities with the highest job growth in the U.S after Boston, Philadelphia, and Atlanta. Using online data and social media monitoring GoodSeeker created a methodology and criteria to determine who was eligible for the list, and an employer’s overall “Story Power.” The GoodSeeker team scored and ranked companies based on a variety of factors to indicate a commitment to values, celebrating employee success, and using employee success stories in communications.

There is no cost or obligation to be on this list, and no employee surveys were required.
